Hi, I’m Sarah, a Master of Counselling student completing my internship at Island Community Counselling. I feel honoured to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, and my hope is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and guided by curiosity. I work from a person-centred and trauma-informed lens, drawing on a range of perspectives to meet each person’s unique needs. I support clients in exploring their strengths, values, and personal stories to foster growth, healing, and meaningful change.
With over ten years of experience supporting children and families, including those with neurodiversity, I value working with people from diverse backgrounds. I also bring a personal understanding of navigating identity and finding a sense of belonging. I enjoy supporting people through life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, identity exploration, and more.
Outside of counselling, I love spending time in nature, staying active, and connecting with the people who matter most to me. I look forward to meeting you and working together in ways that feel supportive and meaningful for your journey.
